Now it’s a high time to understand the condition and the feeling of third sex community. Many times we feel that how our society exclude the transgender from our society. In this new world let just bring together and make some change. But in our society, there are few incidents that proved that yes humanity is still alive. Here are some examples that totally proved that Third sex is one of us.

NUKKAD TEAFE – Offers Jobs Only for transgender and for differently-abled
A café in Chhattisgarh doing a great job by giving jobs only to transgender and differently able people. Not only this they ask for your smartphone and instead of smartphones, they offer books to read during your visit to café.
Government Jobs for Transgender
Finally, our government starts giving reorganization to this third gender by offering jobs in many fields. Earlier Kochi metro hired 23 ground staff from Transgender, a great step towards equality.
No “sex” Biased Bathrooms
Again government of India shows a great respect by removing Gents & Ladies toilet and set up a free toilet for everyone in Kochi metro. Transgender employs were pretty happy with this step.
Harvard guest speaker – Transgender Activist
In January 2017, Harvard University invited Kalki Subramaniam, a transgender activist, to speak at the India Conference 2017. The topic was like “India- the Global Growth Engine” where the country’s successes and challenges were discussed very confidently by Kalki Subramaniam.
Athletics meet for Transgender
For the very first time, Kerala government again proved that transgender is one of us by organizing an athletic meet only for transgender.
First Transgender Beauty Pageant
In June 2017, Kochi held its first transgender beauty pageant and at least 15 participants walked the ramp.
First, open transgender marriage in Mumbai
In December 2016, for the first time, a transgender married in a temple in Mumbai. Madhuri Sarode, a transgender, married Jay Kumar Sharma, who she had been dating for two years.
Third gender recognition by Government
In 2014 after a landmark judgment, the Supreme Court on Tuesday created the "third gender" status for transgender. Earlier, they were forced to write male or female against their gender in many government official papers.
