'The Accidental Prime Minister' will be produced by Hansal Mehta and hit the theatres on December 21 along with Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Zero'.
'The Accidental Prime Minister' is finally on floors and has already started making the buzz. Based on Sanjay Baru's book of the same name - The 'Accidental Prime Minister' will have Suzanne Bernert playing the role of former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. The film stars Anupam Kher as the former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh.
The film is a book adaptation and will be helmed by debutante director Vijay Ratnakar Gutte. The film will also star Akshaye Khanna as political commentator Sanjay Baru and Aahana Kumra as Priyanka Gandhi. Aahana was last seen in 'Lipstick Under My Burkha'.

This is not for the first time that Suzzanne has worked on Hindi projects. She has worked in several Indian television shows and films. Her Bollywood journey includes a mix of various Indian languages. In fact, she was the first foreign actor to play the role of a villain on Indian television in the show 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat'. She has also portrayed the role of Sonia Gandhi in a TV series titled 'Pradhanmantri'. The show was hosted by Shekhar Kapur.
